On Saturday April 14th, 2018, The Port Gibson Fire Department conducted a Tanker Operations Training based off of our Tanker Task Force Alarm System. The goal of this training was to ensure that we could flow enough water to safely handle a large structure fire. The training included 18 fire departments from 3 counties, members from the Ontario County Office of Emergency Management, and dispatchers from Ontario County 911. We flowed 174,300 gallons of water over the course of the 2 hour training. We would like to thank all the departments who attended and all the Port Gibson members who helped assist to host this training.
